POPAI India
The primary objective of POPAI India is to create a community of point-of-purchase producers and practitioners, which would facilitate the exchange of ideas thereby raising the standards of the industry as a whole.

One of the most critical tasks of POPAI India would be in spearheading initiatives that would enable collection and dissemination of relevant and useful market information to its members.

POPAI India's aims at creating an environment in the Retail Marketing industry for ethical practices, the rapid expansion of business opportunities, the protection of economic interests and the preservation of the industry's rights as a commercial communications medium.

Objective

  • To promote the importance of POP in the total marketing mix
  • To create and circulate relevant Indian and International market information about the practice and effectiveness of POP advertising among members
  • To represent the Indian POP industry with various interest groups in the government, industry and society.
  • To provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences
  • To conduct regular training programs/workshops for upgrading skills on international levels

Activities

  • Promote POPAI India with the aim of reaching the Indian trade companies
  • Plan event and programs to be implemented in the first year of operations.

          Organize regular briefing sessions with prospective members in various cities across the country

  • Participate in trade shows / exhibitions to publicize POPAI India and recruit new members
  • Conceptualize a working model of the CPP program
  • Identify research topics , which would be of interest to the Indian POP industry
  • Communicate with the media regarding all activities proposed / implemented}
  • Establish the statutes and the new legal entity of POPAI India
